সংক্ষেপে: সালাহ ডেইলিতে কোনো অ্যাকাউন্ট, বিজ্ঞাপন বা অ্যানালিটিক্স নেই। আপনার নামাজের ইতিহাস, সেটিংস ও লোকেশন শুধু আপনার ফোনেই থাকে। আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ, বিক্রি বা শেয়ার করি না।
1. Information that stays on your device
- Prayer tracker and history: which prayers you marked done on which day, and streaks calculated from them.
- Settings: language, theme, calculation method, Asr method, widget style and alert preferences.
- Location: the city you pick, or your coordinates if you tap "Use current GPS location". It is used only to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction, on your device.
This information is stored in the app's private storage. It is not sent to us or to any server. If you use Android's device backup, Android may include app data in your own Google backup; that is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
2. Location
The app asks for location permission only when you tap "Use current GPS location". The coordinates are used on your device to work out prayer times and the Qibla bearing. To show a city name, your phone's built-in geocoder may contact the location service provided by your device (for example Google Play services); we do not receive that request.
3. Internet use
Some recitations and duas play audio that streams over the internet from public Quran audio services
(for example quranicaudio.com and everyayah.com). When you press play, your device requests the audio file
from those servers, so they can see your IP address and the file you requested, as with any website. We do not send them anything else.
If the audio is unavailable, the app may read the text aloud using your phone's built-in text-to-speech.
4. Notifications, alarms and widgets
- Notifications: used to warn you when a prayer time is about to end and you have not marked it done.
- Alarms and full-screen alerts: the alert can appear over the lock screen at the time you chose. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Widgets: show prayer times and your done/missed status on your home screen. They read the same on-device data.
5. Sharing images
If you share a progress card, the image is created on your device and handed to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp or Gallery). We do not receive it.

7. Third parties and Google Play statistics
The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social-media SDKs. The only third parties involved are the public audio hosts in section 3 and Google Play, which distributes the app and has its own privacy policy.
To understand how the app is doing, we use the statistics that Google Play Console provides to every developer. These are aggregated figures such as the number of installs and uninstalls, countries, Android versions, device models, ratings and reviews, and crash or "not responding" reports sent by devices whose owners have chosen to share diagnostics with Google. This comes from Google Play, not from code in the app, and we do not receive your name, contact details, location or prayer history. You can control diagnostics sharing in your phone's Google settings.
8. Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Your choices and deleting your data
Because everything is stored on your device, you are in control: clear the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps → Salah Daily → Storage, or uninstall the app, to delete all prayer history and settings. There is no account or server copy to delete.
10. Security
Data is kept in the app's private storage on your device and is protected by Android's app sandbox. Audio is requested over HTTPS.
11. Religious content
The guides are for education only and may contain mistakes. Please confirm rulings with your trusted mufti or scholar.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change matters, mention it in the app's release notes.
